Quinn

Here are a couple of pictures from this weekend. Quinn is trying out his new ty from Aunt Hilary, a baseball tee that pitches the ball to him! WOW, what a prefect gift, Quinn loves it. He could play baseball or football all day if we let him, It's kinda scary! Thr other pictures are from the Notre Dame game, Quinn likes to say GO IRISH! OR GO CUBBIES!

Doctor check up for both boys

Today we went to the docot for Quinn's three year check up and Gavins 1 year check up. Quinn was 34 punds and 37 inches tall. Gavin was 26 pounds and 31 inches tall! Gavin is in the 75% precentile and Quinn is average at 50%. The doctor asked Quinn if he was daddy's boy or mommy's boy, he of course said daddy's boy! Then he asked who you love more and he said mommy. It was pretty funny. Both boys got shots and both of them got them without any tears!!! My company bought some baseball tickets for the diamondbacks game tonight so I got four for the four of us, it was fun, of course Quinn did not want to leave, we stayed until the 5th inning and then Gavin was getting fussy!!

Funny

Quinn thinks that it is funny to do things and have me take his picture and then he wants to see how it looks and then he laughs at himself!

Gavin

Gavin is getting so big! Here are a couple cute pictures of him stuffing his face. He will literally eat anything you give him! He loves making a mess! Gavin is not walking yet although he is desperately trying! He is getting moved up to his next classroom at school now that he is 1! Birthday pictures to come! We celebrated Quinn and Gavins Birthdays this last weekend and had a great time! Gavin was not interseted in opening presents much, so of course his big brother opened most of them for him. We had green and orange dinosaur cake from Fry's grocery store, got to love the bakeries that will make anything you need!!

Cubs game

Today Mike and Quinn went to the Cubs game! Quinn loved it! He was so excited and all he wants to do is go to more games!

Visiting with Mimi,Papa Joe & Drew

Quinn had so much while Mimi, Papa Joe and Drew where here to visit. Quinn, Daddy, Papa Joe and Drew went to see a 3-d Dinosaur movie. The boys were not too sure about it at first, but afterwords they both talked liked they loved it! We seem to think that they were a little bit scared. They 4 boys also went to see Under Dog! This was a much better choice of movies! Gavin does not like the big whale in the first pictures not a happy camper!

Quinns car ride to school

Usually in the morning Quinn has a lot to share with me in our 45 minute drive to school. Today he was telling me who he would like to come to his birthday party, he named his usually Mimi, Papa Joe, Drew, Uncle Chris, Uncle Rudy and Issa, Aunt Cece (Katie), Aunt Hilary, and at the end he tells me Bo and his Daddy. I turned around and said who, he said Bo you know, come on Mommy!! Bo and his Daddy. I think he thought that Doug was Bo's Daddy. Anyways I thought it was really cute.

Quinn the Musician/ Baseball Player

In the picture with Quinn is his fancy new baseball hat that Uncle Rudy sent him, with his new flute coursity of Papa Joe, He couldn't figure out how to play the flute and make the noise sound nice. The last picture is rare to see the two boy s playing nice with each other and Quinn giving him kisses! He truly can be sweet when he wants to be! Gavin is the best baby even, I don;t know how we got so lucky, but he really is a happy go lucky big boy!

Quinn Turned 3!

So Quinn turned 3 last week we decided to have one big birthday party for both boys at the end of the month. Quinn started in his new classroom today at school, he is offically now a preschooler! He was pretty excited because now they get to play on computers, the bad thing is his friend Xaxier won't be coming into the room for a couple more months. After we got back from Indiana, Quinns friend was so excited to see him he ran up to Quinn gave him a big hug and then Quinn kissed him on the lips! Quinn got a new Diego bike for his birthday, thanks Mimi and Papa Joe! I was trying to take pictures of the two of them tofather as you can see we finally got one that looks good. I thought the other ones were funny! Good thing Gavin is a tough kid!

Haircut

Today we gave Quinn a haircut, it was getting long for the hot weather out here. We have not buzzed Gavin yet, although we may not need to it seems as though his hair is more like mine than Mikes. We gave him a cut around his ears, it was getting long! We have been busy trying to paint some of the rooms in the house.

Presents

Last week Quinn had a gift by the front door when we got home! As you can see he got a Norte Dame Jersey Number 83, and M&M's. Thank you Doug and Robin! Quinn loves the football shirt he likes it so much he wanted to sleep in it that night! The other picture is of Quinn in his new sunglasses and I told him he was a cool dude and he always tells me no mommy I'm a big boy. So Mike told him he was a rock star, so now he thinks he is a rock star whenever he puts on his sunglasses.

Gavin's ouchee

So it was a long week for me, with Mike being in California all week. I took Quinn and Gavin to McDonalds to get dinner one night and we brought it home, got both of them set a the table quick ran to the bathroom, the next thing I know Gavin is screaming bloody murder, Quinn is standing next to him with this straw from his cup poking Gavin in his eye! Of course the eye started bleeding, I was so mad!!! THe picture you can see his right eye! The onther picture of Gavin pushing his little toy I took today he has started trying to walk already!! Needless to say I am very happy Mike is home! IN the last picture Quinn is showing everyone his dinosaur face and that he will be three soon! Oh how time flies by! On Friday night we went to pick Mike up from the airport and Quinn had to have his window rolled down as we drived by the terminal Quinn was yelling out the window "Dad where are you" It was really funny, the things he comes up with.

Just Cause

Quinn's third birthday is fast approaching and he has been telling us that he wants a blue bike, the other day I asked him what kind of cake he wanted he informed me that he wanted a green and orange dinosaur cake, WOW I have no idea how I'm going to pull that one off, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. His new thing is dinosaurs, it seems every since we watched the movie Night at the Museum he loves them, he got upset the other night because Gavin had dinosaur PJ's and he didn't! For some reason I think 3 is going to be more work than 2 for Quinn everything lately is "watch" "wait" "I don't know" "Help". It's funny for a long time I couldn't wait for him to talk now that's all he does. I find myself with Gavin just going with the flow, it's amazing the things I've given Gavin to eat at this age compared to Quinn. Gavin will pretty much eat anything you put in front of him, I have successful weaned him off the bottle already and formula!!!! Now if I could just get him potty trained! Not much going on out here other than Mike is going to training this week in California, so just me and the boys!

weekend

We had a pretty boring weekend, as you can see Quinn got hurt, he was trying to climb into Gavins bed and fell and hit his eye on the bed. The other pictures are our daily regimen with Quinn playing baseball he either wants to catch or bat, which has become dangerous in the house. Gavin's hair is getting long but have not wanted to buzz him yet! Gavin has started to pull himself up. He sure is grwoing fast, he is feeding himself, we are now trying to wean him off the bottle!

Tubby Time

Yesterday I gave Gavin a bath and he has bath towels to be either a Dog or a Frog! The Picture of Quinn making a fishy face, is him practicing so when he goes swimming he can keep his mouth closed! He loves having mommy and daddy take the pictures of him doing silly things and then looks at them in the camera and laughs to himself. Last week we were driving to work and the two of them had a blanket in the back seat playing tough a war, laughing to each other, They think that they are really funny! It is nice they are sarting to interact more with each other.
